Main Street Welcome Home Parade - Wednesday
Our 'Little Queens' Parade. Join Local bands, student groups, athletic teams, classic cars of the 50's & 60's, and our Little Queen contestants! The parade commences on Wednesday, at 6:00 pm.

Lineup is from 5:00-5:50 at the old city building ( now Rocky Offices) on Fayette Street (turn North on Hocking Street/Rocky Boot Way - at the stoplight at Rocky Boots - first right on Hocking is Fayette) - follow the parade lineup signs off of US33.

Bicycle Parade - Thursday
Children, teenagers, adults, and families alike are encouraged to decorate their bikes in a non-competitive community community-spirited atmosphere. Each participant will receive a ribbon and certificate. Check-in at the Law Office (old bank) parking lot on Columbus St. Everyone wins!

Sign-up is from 5-6 at the Mason Law Office parking lot (old bank), and the parade commences at 6 pm.

Grand Parade - Saturday
Lineup is from 3:30-5:30 at Kroger of Nelsonville (Turn North on Burr Oak Blvd. - Peoples Bank/Blackburn intersection), follow the parade lineup signs off of US-33. Visiting Queens who are attending the luncheon will check in at the time indicated by the queen's committee. All others check in between 3:30 and 5:30.The parade commences at 6:00 pm.

*Note* Any haunted house entries must be respectable, and non-gory, otherwise you will not participate.

There is a $50 fee for each politician in the Welcome Home and Grand Parade. Please make checks payable to Nelsonville Parade of the Hills. Mail to PO Box 157, Nelsonville, OH 45764.

Grand Parade- Parade contest
New this year, we are excited to announce a parade contest with the theme of "Hometown Pride." The theme is open to anything related to Nelsonville. Get creative and showcase what you take pride in! Whether it's our school, the square, a local business, something from our history, star bricks, or the Hocking River, the possibilities are endless!

Parade Check-In Information
Welcome Home Parade Instructions:
Check-in at the old City Building (Now Rocky Outdoor Gear Offices on Fayette St.) between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Wednesday. If you're pre-registered, you'll receive your number, and be directed to the starting position. New registrants will sign in, receive a number, and be directed to the start.

The old city building is located off Route 33, across from the Rocky Shoe & Boot outlet. Turn North on Hocking Street from US33(follow the signs), then turn right on Fayette Street. The old city building is on the corner of Hocking and Fayette Street.

Bicycle Parade Instructions:
Thursday, from 5:00pm - 5:50pm - Check in at Library Junction/law office (old bank).

Grand Parade Instructions and Route Info:
Check-in for visiting queens and POTH queen candidates(who are attending the Queen luncheon) is on Saturday from 11:30 pm -1:00 pm near Kroger of Nelsonville. From US33 Turn North on SR78(intersection with Sonic, BP, Blackburn Home Furnishings - follow the signs). Go to Poplar Street(second light), and turn left to the check-in table.

General parade check-in is from 3:30pm - 5:30 pm near Kroger of Nelsonville. Pre-registered guests will receive their number, and be directed to the start. New registrants will be directed to the start.

*Note - 'Day of' registrants will be announced at the public square, but not at all announcing stations! Please pre-register.
